Our Goal
Our Aim
Our aim is to create Norfolk’s first dedicated Autism Centre and provide practical support for families today.
The Vision
Building a Place Where Every Child Can Thrive
At Thrive Autism, our long-term vision is clear: to create Norfolk’s first state-of-the-art Autism Centre — a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space designed specifically for autistic children and young people, along with their families and caregivers.
We know that families in our region face long waiting lists, limited support, and a lack of places where their children can feel truly accepted. Our centre will change that — providing both specialist facilities and a supportive community under one roof.

The Impact
Why It Matters
Currently, Norfolk has no specialist centre of this kind. Families are left without the resources they need, children wait years for support, and carers struggle to find respite.
Our Autism Centre will fill this gap, offering a holistic approach that brings together play, therapy, education, and community.
It will be a place where:
- Every child feels safe, understood, and celebrated
- Families find the support and respite they need
- Professionals can collaborate and share expertise
- The community comes together around a shared purpose
The Plan
How We’ll Get There
We know this ambition will take time, which is why we’ve created a three-stage plan.
Build the Foundation
Establish Thrive Autism as a trusted charity, build our community, and begin delivering immediate support services across Norfolk.
Secure the Future
Raise the significant funds needed for our Autism Centre, identify a suitable site, and begin the planning and design process.
Open the Doors
Open Norfolk's first dedicated Autism Centre, fulfilling our vision and providing a permanent home for families across the region.
Get Involved
Be Part of the Future
The Thrive Autism Centre will be a life-changing resource for thousands of families across Norfolk and Waveney — but we cannot achieve it alone.
With the support of donors, volunteers, businesses, and community partners, we can make this vision a reality. Together, we can build a place where every neurodivergent child is seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
